Burnt orange boy , originally uploaded by blacsylc . Autumn has been very... autumnal this year. The very first day of autumn a cold wind blew. The past few days have been a monsoon. And today... was a melancholic gusty day out of a Charlotte Bronte novel. It was too delicious. We sat by the window and did our various tasks by gray light. Leslie loves the burnt orange season. Then again his birthday is coming up. ♥

I swatted him away from me with my tripod as I held Leslie in my other arm and tentatively sprinted for the house. I wish the neighbors hadn't been in their yard. Oh, well. Looking out , originally uploaded by blacsylc . The day before yesterday I did not upload with the correct settings. I was displeased with my pic, so maybe it was psychological. However, now it doesn't look so bad to me. I have noticed these daily pics reflect my mood, thoughts and desires like a dream might. The day I took this picture I felt hopeless, but reflecting now I can see beneath that there was hope. I cannot really want something without hoping, and there was something I have been wanting so much.

Last afternoon I received a package long awaited-in fact, the night before, I couldn't sleep until I had named my impending arrival. I decided to name her Moonlight, for her pale hair. I am awed by her beauty. Last night I stayed up too late working on clothes for her. She arrived nude so I was unable to take pictures. I cannot believe her wonderful quality, especially for the price I paid. Similar dolls are going for the same amount, and I made no promises not to buy another. I am looking for a trunk to keep these beautiful dolls. Madame Alexander Alex, 15.5" vinyl. Moonlight is the "Editor in Chief" Alex with waist-length flaxen hair and ice-blue eyes, real eyelashes. She is stunning. I saw one of these dolls in a local shop, but decided to search on eBay to see if I could find one more affordable-oh, I did.
