Moonlight

Last afternoon I received a package long awaited-in fact, the night before, I couldn't sleep until I had named my impending arrival.

I decided to name her Moonlight, for her pale hair.

I am awed by her beauty. Last night I stayed up too late working on clothes for her. She arrived nude so I was unable to take pictures.

I cannot believe her wonderful quality, especially for the price I paid. Similar dolls are going for the same amount, and I made no promises not to buy another.

I am looking for a trunk to keep these beautiful dolls.

Madame Alexander Alex, 15.5" vinyl. Moonlight is the "Editor in Chief" Alex with waist-length flaxen hair and ice-blue eyes, real eyelashes. She is stunning.

I saw one of these dolls in a local shop, but decided to search on eBay to see if I could find one more affordable-oh, I did.

I can't believe it. It looks like the rusted gates to The Garden of Virtues are going to be laboriously parted by small articulated resin hands after all once more. I am glad that I am buying Lanie's Angel, but I am also a little sad. I remember disposing of Dresden along with my other dolls. I was in a vicious rage. I hesitated over Dresden's prone form, thinking, goodness, even I don't think of her as a BJD, is this really necessary? And then, blindly, cutting the strings.
